Official Skate 2 Trailer
- New San Vanelona – 5 years has passed since the last time you visited San Vanelona. The city got destroyed in Skate It for the Wii. The city has now been rebuilt, all new spots and all new places.
- Flick It – Hand/Foot plants and Hippie jumps has been added to the flick it control. They have doubled the amounts of tricks in Skate 2. Will we see darkslides? We’ll see.
- Walking & Running – It’s time to get off your skate, you can now walk and run in the game. And you are now also able to move objects within the city around to create your own spots and lines.
- What happened to that dude? – If you remember the Skate 2 teaser video there was one called “What happened to that dude?” Well the video kind of gave away that you are gonna be able to import your old skater some how. EA don’t wanna give away the story right now, but more info about this is coming soon.
- Character Customization – It has been rumored that Skate 2 will have a character customization mode like in Tiger Woods PGA Tour, Fight Night etc etc. We don’t know if this is true or not yet but from screenshots and videos we can see diffrent looking characters that’s been created, the faces does not look the same. Oh and you can now play as a woman.

It looks like EA have listened to everyone whinging about not being able to get off the board and run to the spot you need to get to.
If they do this right and don’t go over the top on the “move stuff about to make your own spot” then they will have another winner on their hands!
Please, please, please… .don’t let it get too Tony Hawk Pro Skater!
