I love EA’s new Skate game. But the game is just 65% done.
Recover Bad Fall
One thing that really bugs me about this game is the so called “physic” engine. When you fall from your skate it looks like someone just dropped a dead body from the eifeltower.
I’d like them to implant a “recover bad fall” animation to the engine. Instead of the guy just dropping dead when he falls off his skate, why not have animations with the guy trying to recover from his bad fall so he doesn’t hit his head first. Right now it’s like the skater dies just because he lose his skateboard from his feet’s.
Skateboard Damage System
I’d like to see a damage system for the skateboards that records all the grind scratches under the board etc etc. So when you have totally f*ed up the skateboard your gonna have to buy a new one.
Walking
Being able to pick up your skate and walk up the stairs you wanna jump is a lot easier then having to skate up a mountain to get to it. So being able to pick up the skate and walk, run and jump would be great and it would give you more freedom.
Gameplay
Not being able to do a handplant/invert is something that was missing in Skate. This has to be put in. Maybe by pressing the (Y) button? And then control your balance with the sticks some how.

Some good ideas so far. I have a couple suggestions too.
1. Some actual board damage. Like already if you try to ollie off of something too high he’ll just land on the board but then he’ll fall off. What if the board would actually break and it would make you have to buy a new board to replace it
2. Board damage. If you use the same board too much you should see scratches and chips on it. Same with the grip tape. A part of skateboarding is having to replace your board after you wear it out
3. The abilty to wax curds that don’t slide very well. Its kind of unrealisic to be able to grind every little curb. So perhaps if you like a ledge you should be able to wax it so that it’ll slide better.
4. More clothing options
5. Being able to change bearings which would have an impact on speed.

u should be able to mark a favorite skate spot so its not so hard to find it again and you should be able to make a team online and film a video for your team.
Need to be able to walk/run and maybe climb some…ladders or walk up steps at least…ride behind cars. I’m sure many people are sick of pushing their way to a subway or a place…I am. Could make the hats not quite so square…they look horrible. Other than that the online is pretty laggy…needs to be improved and maybe just narrowed down a little more to the area that is meant to be skated than being able to roam outside of freeskate online locations.
Yeah, I like some of the ideas that you guys are coming up with. I have had some of the same ones, before skate even came out. I sent a long email to the makers of Tony Hawks Pro Skater, and I asked for a “Realistic” skateboarding game. Too bad they didn’t come up with anything like that. EA answered my prayers..
As for improvements, I think that their physics engine is pretty well done, except it has some glitches, and I think it would be cool to see the limbs actually break and stuff, rather than getting a strange written damage report. Saving yourself from bails wont always happen in real life, however it does happen a lot more than slamming and breaking your entire rib cage every five minutes, I agree that the developers should make skaters able to walk away from sissy bails, like missed flip tricks.
I have tried some big gaps in “Skate” and I have had that reoccurring “Too hard” landing thing happen, where you just fall off the board.. And I find that really annoying. I know one isn’t physically able to ollie off of a three story building.. But I think they should put some sort of thing in the game to brace yourself for impact. They had something kind of like this in the second Tony Hawk. However, I think skate could do a better job.. And for Snapping skateboards and having to buy new ones, I think that was one of my main ideas when I sent Activision that email.. Anyways, thanks for putting this forum up..
i agree with all the ideas but the problem is nearly all the thing uve said tony hawks has alredy done, i think ea tried very hard not to rip of tony hawks and thats why alot of those features arnt in the game. geting of your board would be good i get so pissed off having to find my way to the top os good stair sets, i think there should be some kind of catch feature where u have to position your feet to land properly. sot of like thier was in thrasher on th ps1
It will be a good idea that with the money you earned you could spend it on building your own skate park like this you would have a motivation to earn money.
agree with the damge thing, but I don’t think you should have to buy one again IF AND ONLY IF you’re riding your sponsor’s board. if your not sponsored, or riding another board, BUY ANOTHER ONE!
They should make an online career, so it’s kind of like WoW, just not as geeky
i think the board, trucks, and bearings should all have wear-out meters. nothin with core gameplay is messed up except like some of you guys mentioned the physics and video editor. I mean i, being a skater my self, would think it bad ass to see my board snap in the game 360 flippin a gap. And skitching wouldnt be a bad idea either. I like how you dont really have to balance with the manuals and stuff like that. The video editor should keep a few things, but should be more like halo 3’s, with the ability to fly around. You should also be able to walk- not climb. Ladders would ruin core-gameplay. Things like primo sliding and flipping should somehow be added, although i dont know how they would do that. And as someone said before they should also have a spot marker book to mark skate spots on the map, not just the owned parts. The confidence meter sounds a little overrated tonyhawk- it would be complicated to figure out. But if they did add one, i beleive they should have it go up by how many tricks you land in a row, how good the trick is, and how clean you landed it. When you fall it goes down, but not all the way. Its just like warming up in real life. And woulda little rain to rust my bearings or trucks or make skating a little slippery be too much to ask? Curb waz thing sounds intense, it would be sweet to be like “i like this ledge screw that one love this one” haha. Just some ideas, throwin ‘em out there.
you should add the ability to be able to do a “BIG FLIP”. if you try and do it in the game the board does a 540 NOT a 360. you should fix that. you should also make it somewhat a little “harder” to do switch and nollie tricks.. i dont know how but there should be some way. umm.. oh yea add nighttime in the game. make the sun go down, then the moon come up, then the moon go down, then the sun go up. you know? thatd be cool
ALSO! make the skaters shoes rip up. kinda like the “board damage” thing but “shoe damage” also
I agree with the damage idea, and i really think that you should be able to walk around. But just to add onto the realism, i think that you should have the option to have first person view hilst skating, where you can see where you are going and how you are using your board. I also have n idea to solve the “too hard” landig problem, when you just hit the ground you use the crouch button to absorb the landing.
I would love to see flatland tricks in this game. Being able to freestyle would be amazing, especially if it were implimented into the s.k.a.t.e. mode. I’m not sure how they could do it… perhaps one of the bumpers would switch you to a “flatland mode” or something, so instead of doing a kickflip you would go into a casper or something. Just a thought.

Ok here it goes, some ideas! all you have some good ideas and here are some additional ideas i feel would make this the all time best game ever:
the game needs a time system. time of day, season with weather, calenders, etc.
regular pro competition circuits similar to the dew tour format so you have to constantly keep your pro status based on a calander system.
you should be able to buy stuff like property that you have to go to to save the game and cars for status and acheivements and stuff.
maybe have a fatigue system where you have to do something to get rest like go home or drink an energy drink and the more you skate the more endurance you get. not like a point system but it would be automatic based on how much you ar skating.
popularity system were the more popular you are the more spectators you get watching you. Papparatzi maybe. might be cool if at least you could control it like how you control the peds and traffic in free skate.
transportation: i have a few ideas like there should be taxies that you have to pay for to drop you off anywhere on the map. take out the jump to any where feature on the map and make you have to use real means to get where you are going like skate to the train station or hail a cab or hop in your brand new BMW you just bought and drive to your fav spot.
be able to save fav spots! even be able to upload markers to skate reel so others can session your spots.
Make a Advanced game mode that toggles some of these ideas i have on so the not so patient skaters can jump to places or have no fatigue or damage and stuff like that if they play on a lower game mode. maybe even if you break a bone you have to pay for the medical bill.

I wish there was more stuff to buy as i always seem to have a $100000+ in the ol’ wallet in skate 1 so maybe have a financial system in skate 2 that you have bills to pay like that new mansion you just bought or the car insurence. cabs, subways, who knows planes!. I think this would add a great dynamic to the game if you had to manage your money and career. maybe something for the advanced game mode.
Damage to the board would be cool but damage to the skater would be cooler. like when you scrap the hell out of you chest face sliding down a hill you actually bruse up and have cuts and stuff at least for a bit or even have to pay to get better. damage modeling would be a plus. maybe something just for the advanced game mode might get expensive.
Character customization needs an overhual. think tiger woods. We need more options, more hair cuts other then the 8 variations of a mullet on skte 1. more facial control. I want to make my character look like me or Quazimoto, but i need the controls to do it.
new hats are a must and be able to where them how ever we want. hair color needs to be more veritile for all us punks.
Custom decks and clothing. Need to be able to import my graphics, logos etc to the game. Just had an idea, in the game you would have to be able to start your own skte company. cost money of course.
More tricks!!! what about hand plants, Darkside grinds, caspers!!!! need some flatland.

Need more camera options like fixed cameras and 360 tracking cameras, freefloating cams, etc.
need to be able to export the vids we make to the Hard drive on the game system in a usable format to make skate videas with no time limit as some of the best runs are really long and it would be great to be able to capture those with the replay editor and not be restricted to 30 seconds. allthough 30 seconds for online upload is fine as the bandwidth needed for more then that is astronomical.
Its been said before but need to be able to get off the board and walk run climb. who cares if THPS has done it already. they dont own a patent on walking and such.
Well that was my 2 cents! ( if EA did everything i just listed it would probably be about $5-10 million in development) and you wonder why the games cost $60.
all in all I think that if skate 2 had some sort of career management system it would make such a more dynamic and interesting game. but im sure what ever they do It will be awsome.

they need to add no complys and bonelesses to the game.
also rolling out of grinds on transition isnt nearly realistic enough and in real life you dont normally stand up straight whjen doing grinds/slides on transtion because its dependant on how fast your going.
grinds down hand rails dont look realistic enough as you dont stand up straight for a frontside boardslide down a sloped rail, you arch your body and lean into it.
And 180 ollies,kickflips etc dont look at all real as in real life you dont rotate your head or body that much with a fs 180 but just your hips and legs.
And tricks on vert suck because it looks like your skating street still and your not crouching enough in mid air an dnot leaning into the direction of the transition whilst in air.
Vert skating requires you to control and specificly position your whole body from the head down, street skating only requires you to really conentrate on your body below the hips, and mini ramp is somewhere in between

I think that it would be an awsome idea to only be told the basic flips, grinds, and grabs, and have to unlock the rest.
This is because you can just look in your trick book and find the best ‘flickit’ trick in the game, because they are all there!!
Whereas this way, having to do a trick before you can see how to ‘flickit’, you would have to experiment with the controls to get good and learn the tricks for yourself.
For example, if you do a ’shuvit’, and a ‘kickflip’ at the same time you get a ‘varial kickflip’. Once you did it, it would be unlocked in your trick book on how to ‘flickit’ a ‘varial kickflip’.
Much more realistic, nobody can do a ‘360 inward heelflip 180′ as son as they step on a skateboard!!!
handplants……simple you grab one trigger at the top of lip to plant your hand then grab the other trigger to grab your board…ttweakable of course.they should add quickcrete to be able to fix spots or just make something sick ANYWERE….you gunna like this one!add moving trucks you can coffin under!!!or semi trucks….idk something…cops!there should be pigs in cars chasing you……GRAFFITI!uummmm idk if u guys noticed but neckface is everywhere in the game SICK!

If youve ever played socom they same kind of thing happened. Read up on it, so many of the die hard fans sent emails to zipper that they made their new game completly based around what the fans wanted including getting rid of the offline version
i think that skate 2 should have checkpoints in “follow me” its so annoying when your almost there and you get hit by a car and have to start over
hey great ideas i think there should also be a bail button so say u see u cant land the trick u push the bail button so he bails out and doesnt get smashed i also think it would be good to have damage for the person like say you land badly on your wrist he holds it as he skates for a bit or if he goes for something huge and gets totally smashed he gets sent to the hospital and charged a small fee for the damage caused. i also think that they need some sort of stats for the skater i know the person progresses at playing the game but have the stats not visible but sorta built in so if u like flip tricks and get good at them and land them alot your flips are better but if your more into vert tricks ya grabs get better it would also be cool if when u first try to learn a new trick you actually stack it the first couple of times depending on how hard the trick is. I think another good idea is like with Tony Hawk and it has that whole focus thing how u have to land the board flat i think skate needs something like that so if u kickflip u have to let go at the right moment only problem with this is it makes the game harder….

walking.. not a button or jumping, but holding both feet buttons, so he can walk.. ide be down with that, maybe then on a wall ride push a foot button and he’d plant off it all badass..

I agree, i think you shuld be able to snap your board and your board would get damaged also. but wen your board is broke you have to get another out of your backpack. One other idea i had was all the tricks would look different. For example, say all the pros do 20 kickflips and they would all look different. Then in the game you it would just cycle through them so wen you do one they would all look different. Same thing with all the tricks down rails and ledges etc.. One last idea is that the switch and fakie tricks need to be more realistic:)
well alot of those ideas were cool, except for the waxing the curb thing, why the heck would i want to stop and take the time to wax a curb for ten min just to skate it like twice. and oops i broke my board now i have to spend the next hour walking to the skate shop thats accross town to get a new one. and now i’m tired so i have to stop having fun for a while and go home and eat and sleep. people dont buy this game to live a super realistic life and skate a little on the side. they buy it to skate and have fun without having to go home and take a leak after having to drink a coke to replenish their “fatigue meter”, or having to go to the store and buy some band aids to fix up their “damage meter”, if the game were like that they wouldnt buy it they would just go buy a friggen skate board and learn how to do it in real life.

Right, as a big skate fan, skate is possibly the funnest game i’ve played. However as many people have noticed a few things are missing
Most frustrating
— Walking. I find it mildly annoying that the floor is made of lava to the guy on the board. One touch and you fall. other than stopping but thats about it.
— Edit your skate clips into one video, E.G film something somewhere, then something somewhere else, but have the ability to import clips into one, and add background music of the set bands on the playlist.
– Public transport, Bus, Taxi ? who knows
— Change sponsor, i didn’t even really realize i had picked my sponsor until it was too late
— Split screen multiplayer? freeskate
— Breaking board sounds pretty cool, from heights
— Obviously more, but will post later
Another would be to start off like a pure noob at skating, knowing a few tricks, and when ollieing from heights, rarely landing, but as you gain experience, you learn tricks if you get shown from other skaters, and you get the ability to ollie off higher heights.
good ideas. i think that they should try and capture the real LIFE of skating. like gettin a friend or a camera guy to film you. rolling around in a car would be a stretch but its an idea. Skating in demos would be kind of cool. I think they could go more in depth with a more personalized style. And one thing i hate about all skating games is skating hand rails. No matter how fast you go you always seem to fly straight over the rail like it was nothing, when in fact getting onto a rail is pretty hard. Proportionally, the heighth of the rail looks right but it doesnt seem right skating rails. And they still ollie a bit to high. I am picky about how i would want a game and i know that i don’t make them . But SKATE was a huge step up from the bush league Hawk games.
I agree with all youre ideas but i think they should make the game a little less loadable like when u put a session marker and go to far then u have to wait for the load. One concern is that when u snap youre board you bought eg Zero and then snap it you can go to your backpack and replace it for free with the same board. Also itll be cool to make youre own board.

you should be able to put video parts together and like download tracks and publish it, kinda like thpg, i REALLY think there should be a focus button, like by pushing down on one of the thumbsticks to use either feet to focus, or the 2 triggers to pick it up and throw it, you should be able to walk and i dont know if this is possible, but when skating in real life, if u land on your board the wrond way over a set or gap, it breaks, so maybe you can make something up of that, but if you make a number 2 i will be super stoked and i KNOW it will be better (also call pop shuvit 180s big spins, haha)

i like a lot of these ideas. san van was awesome but at times it was almost so perfect it was unreal. i’d like to see some east coast grit like new york or philly,. some real skate spots like brooklyn banks, love park, etc. would be great. i know tony hawk has done love, but skate could make it so much better. non local skate comps would be good, like going to a comp site for a few days (tampa, euro comps, whatever) then going back home. i won’t mention trick development, physics, or clothing cuz everyone covered those. lastly more skate culture, like a more interactive skateshop, a better scene as apposed to ran dom skaters flying around everywhere (i sometimes felt alone in this huge city). maybe a skate crew or a real session going down at a spot. Skate 2 will be the best skating game ever(only before skate) as long as they stay true to skateboarding.

i think everyone should be in the same map when online, it would make it so more realistic. you see a group of skaters and you go over and ask if you could join in their game of skate or whatever they are doing. and the whole progress idea is spot on, better people, like being a pro online (those who play the game more are better). being better than some of my friends would be awesome!
setting up cameramen, lights and stuff is another brilliant idea, and then editing and setting up your own skate video.
walking is good as long as its not overdone, like climbing and stuff. more skate parks, weather conditions, boards snapping
the whole car idea sounds stupid but it would brilliant, picking up mates and driving to a skate spot, although the map would have to be ridiculously big. though there would be dickhead drivers about
i think there shud be a class like sytem but instead of just vert and street there shud be things like stair gaps, grinds, vert grabs, vert spins ,copin grinds ect. and people shud ony be able to build limted stats(number out of 10) for the class you pick and you shud get the chioce to change your sponser but if you do you lose your free stuff you got before

really solid ideas…… I enjoy chillen with my buddys sometime and play 2 player Skate. I think Skate 2 should offer more variety in multiplayer games. Maybe different things such as a comp. at the different parks. Best run in 3:00 or whatever kind of thing…. I really like the 20 different spots you can do. Possibly even add on to the spots?? we all know there are more then 20 different tight spots to rip in the skate environment. Maybe even being able to chose a spot at random or save a favorite spot for such thing? Keep up the good work.
if they did make a skate 2, i think that they should put the board dammage onto that. that was an amazing idea. although, i wouldnt want a walking mode on the game, cuz then if you can walk from place to place, then why not call the game walk? so walking is dumb idea. A park creator would be very nice also, but having a mansion and paying bills… wtf? thats what the sims is for. this is skate, not the sims. so all i hope is that skate 2 will come out very soon!!!
Something else that would be cool is a way to land from huge gaps. Some gaps in SKATE seem doable until you try them, and then you just eat it. I was thinking maybe if you click the right stick upon impact to make your player absorb the impact a little better. It sucks to see a cool gap and then not be able to land it no matter how hard you try. Obviously there is some stuff that nobody could ever land, but some leeway in there would be cool. Holla holla!
Ok, my name is Chris and I’m a skater and I love SKATE, when it came out i went and got it as soon as possible.
There are alota things that need fixin’ tho…
1. Day and night. Skatin at night would be sick, have your filmer set up lights, generator, itd be sick.
2. The tricks. More tricks, (boneless, handplant, etc.) Also the flip tricks need improvement. Your body should be independant from your board, alowing body variels like sex changes, etc. Flipping a trick should not be all, but like click the stick to catch the board in mid air, timing would allow primo stalls, double flips, 540 flips maybe (lets not get crazy now).
3. Your filmer. You should have to call him up to film, and lets get a look at him what does he look like!?
4. Boards are not invincable. Allow them to break, I like the damage meter idea, but why a meter? Why in games is it always a meter? If it’s damaged, just make it skate worse, like less tail, or cracked. When your board breaks, buy a new one, unless your sponsered, then you can get the sponsered deck for free. Same with berrings/ trucks.
5. Falls. Animation needs changing, so you don’t just go limp and hope for the best. If you pop too high and come down on a rail on a boardslide, make that board break and bust his nuts! That would be funny as hell and very entertaining. Also missed flip tricks, should just have him land on his feet and fall over if it’s a long drop.
6. Ok, the most obvious change that is needed. GET OFF YOUR BOARD. Walk/run around the city.
7. Economy. Earn money for something! Buy/build your own skate park! New clothes, hats, etc. Maybe cars?
8. Music. Ability to have your own music come thorugh the speakers at the skateparks in the game like X games. If you notice, only the ambient music within the game has the cool reverberating efefct while in buildings.
9. LAN. Some of us don’t have live depending on where you live or whatever. I want to be able to system link with my buddys and free skate.
10. Stalls on QP’s should be easier to do and animations should be fixed.
11. Camera angles and editor. Free camera angle mode, diffrent lens options, ability to save multiple footage and put them all together to make a skate movie, which can be saved to hard drive or transfered to computer.
12. Story line. I felt the story line in SKATE could have improved, and alot of the time i found myself disqusted at the goals needed, like do 6 gorinds 4500 points land 8 sec air time in 30 seconds. That sucked, very tony hawkish, unrealistic. Goals should be like, kickflip frontside boardslide a 9 set, get it clean on film and send it to your guy who makes skate vids. Etc…
13. Better Custization with face and body, like Fight Night round 3, or Tiger woods.
Well I didn’t mean to complain about SKATE 1, its the best skateboarding game to come yet, with graphics and realistic gameplay and whatnot. If EA is reading this, you guys are my hero lol and if you take my ideas seriously I’d be forever thankful!.!!

I think they should have like a new system where you can change your regular skate board into like a long board or a bannana board so it goes faster or somethin like that
i think with the money youown u should be able to buy houses and build skateparks in itlike robs and get pets like rob 2 and u should be able to buy cars and make it like robs truck wit deck holders and stuff and u could drive the truck to spots to skate in

— The goals in career mode should be more specific. I HATE the video challenges. With goals like “get so many points, do so many grinds, blah, blah, blah” It just turns into doing the highest point rated tricks fast as you can to clear the goal. The goals should be specific like the pro challenges. They were challenging, but fun. And the helped you learn new tricks and get better at the game. plus after you finished them, the replay actually looked good. Whereas the video challenges looked very thps like. The only reason I played career mode was to unlock new spots. The photo challenges were fine too i guess.
— being able to set up a little kicker ramp, or moving around benches would be really cool. you could use the ramp gap up to a grind or manual. and moving the benches would make spots more personalized.
i wish you could have more things to buy, like some vans, foundation skateboards, rictas, ya know things like that. i also would like to be able to carry a camera around and place it a certain angle and place, and be filmed at that curtain gap, ledge, rail bowl, whatever. i also would like to have a personal photographer and position him where ever and tell him to get a shot. those shots or sequences can be sent in to the local shop or mag. you should also be able to skate cam friends online too. and see who has the best filming abilities. andddd please make the game a little more realistic. let your board break that would be nice, just snap under your feet, or let your guy snap the tail off, or right threw th middle when you get really pissed off. when your skating for a gap you should be able to kick out your board and throw it away. ahhhh man. better editting like adobe premier, something good, with sick ram slowmos out of after affects. clothes yo moreeee, thing for everyone, hippies, jews, chineese kids, nah jk but everyone. like bandannas, beanies, stuff like that, get more companies too, as many as possible. night and day would be nice pullen out that genorator with all your lights. and sessioning a skate spot. alll your stuff should wear out till where your truck snaps, your board starts to flex, or your wheel just flies off.. and you fall right on your ass. in the middle of nowhere, wherever you want you should be able to buy concrete and such to build homemade qps, hips, boxes, and differebt types of transitions. more parks of all kinds. and no like comps. like the x games or the dew tours. what about like the vans downtown showdown, goofy verses regulars, tampa ams, and tampas pros, etc. more things like sessioning things with pros and ams. also you should be able to save a spot and go to it on the map. besides breaking things on your boaard i want to be able to slip out and hit a glass window and it smashes into pieces. then you have to get out of there as fast as possible. i would also to slip out on landings, rails, and if you put plants in, then those too.i would also like faster turnouts on rails and ledges. another thing is pivots like 90 pivots on a backside flip, those would be mad nice. im an actual skater and like thing to be like you really are out there struggling with your board, buying new things, skating with friends, getting sponsored, going to new spots etc. with all these things i wuld love skate even more.

the only thing i wanted to support for skate 2 is the Free-form video angles and board damage. Maybe a longer story line. I really enjoyed the characters in the game. I also find it funny that although Freeway is the old school Hill bomb kind of guy I don’t think i have ever seen him win a death race. hah
2 things that I would personally like to see are create a spot; where you can lay down a piece of ply-wood for a gap or something, or create a small park with rails and whatnot, and oh yeah, get rid of the Christ air

all i want to do is grind big hand rails, the rails in the first game are all too short and steep, i don’t feel like i have big huevos when i skate dinky things like that, plus you slow down the further you grind down the rail, aren’t you supposed to go faster? gravity? Random rain in some areas will make it real slippery. The board will snap easier and wheels roll slower after exiting the rain area.

4. EXPANDING THE LEVEL after completing missions. In Skate (1) there’s 4 areas, why not start with 3 and later get the 4th. …even better, start with 5 areas and end up with 6.
5. BUILD OWN SKATE PARK.
6. LAND ON YOUR FEET if you’re only trying a kickflip and misses…
7. Increase the speed after landing from rails. The skating speed it’s perfect, but if you’re trying a revert off a grind, sometimes you lose all the speed.
8. BUY something with all the money. A new park, house or whatever skate-related…
It’s boring to only buy clothes and new skateboards for all that money we earn.
9. Put out a lot of OWN MARKERS around the city and choose where you wanna go. They can be displayed on the map for example.
10. IMPOSSIBLE – be able to do an IMPOSSIBLE.
11. When you’re doing tricks like NOLLIE BIGSPIN, it says NOLLIE – FS 360 Shuv it 180 on the screen.

Add more tricks! No Comply/Boneless/Forward Flips. Of course the No Comply you should be able to pull off kickflips/treys with them.

And a huge thing!! The filming/Replay Camera angles sucked in Skate 1. You guys overhyped the game up using all these fancy cameras and no cameras compare to the daily clips. So Halo 3 editor, or have a online private session option which enables you to film/turn invisible following your homies. Or the halo 3 camera replay which can do zoom pans/rolling along
Also make replicas because only like 5 legit replicas were in skate 1, And they were played out within 4 months. Also the handrails none are hard the highest one in the game is like the art gallery 6 stair rail its pathetic common EA is too big of a company lets see improvements.
All those ideas sound great like ams buses houses and walking, but make it for more consolls because i wanted skate but i only have a ps2 n64 ds gamecube and supernintendo because i dont spend all my money on a ps3 or xbox360 and have to live in a trailer park. And putting jamie thomas in the game whoever said that hade a good idea and more punk music because maybe i will be skateing and want to listen to my chemical romance or the dropkick murphys and flatground would be awsome to.
This game is for skateboarding!!! Why do you need to buy a house, or have more clothing. If you are playing this game and you are that worried about the cloths you are wearing, I think thats a sign that you need to put the game down and get a life. The trick list in skate is perfect. There are a few problems with the physics but nothing that huge. I would love to see walking so you can get up stairs, and being able to save locations on the map. PLEASE EA do not put any of that other THPS type stuff in this game. If you want to do front flips and climb builds then play something else.
If they do agree with the walking engine they should add a dropping in system, so you walk onto a halfpipr/quarterpipe and then press a back trigger say RT and he puts the board on the coping then lean the trickstick forwards and he leans down and drops in.
on 2 player mode you shud be able to pick the spot u skate not jus only the 20 spots they give you. like a session marker. and they shud have a minute or 2 just to get as many points you can. like a trick atack in tony hawk.

i thought skate was a great game. it killed like every tony hawk game ever made after playing skate lol. but it needed more like stuff added to it like the board breaking, walking around and stuff like that. but if skate were to bring a game with bmx then it would have like set the marker for all extreme sports video games. i bmx a little too and if skate had bmx then it was just be like a top seller. cuz look, yu have all these tony hawk games coming out every like 2 weeks, but have yu ever really had a good bmx game that is accurate with all the tricks and pros? i would really love to see skate make a game of bmx cuz then i wouldnt stop playing lol =]

i think u should have the abililty to drop in in skate u no press like the y button to put your board on the coping and then pressing y again to drop in also freedom to walk/run. Invert tricks are needed im suprised SKATE. didnt put invert tricks. Now also the falls i mean u fall they go every where its like a puppet being controlled. they should make the falls better. thats pretty much it

Me and some of my friends were talking and we were talking about all the different varietys of things we would LOVE to see in the next game for example i will start with clothing because some of the choices arent as expandable as i thought they would have been for example wearing you hats in different directions instead of just forward. And the shoes are all a little to skinny and small so they kinda look like clown shoes so it takes away from the different styles like especially the circa shoes circa is my favorite shoe company and i didnt even want to wear them in the game because they were to unrealistic looking cause like everybody knows circas got some of the widest shoes. Jeans in the jeans maybe be able to wear different colours and more of a selection would be nice … and the spots are fun but i just think some of the most famous spots should have been featured like ” El Toro, CARLSBAD, Love park, etc… And i know this has alot to do with the companys themselves but there was bearly any selection in board setup for example mystery had 3 boaards indy had 3 trucks and there was like wheel company’s that had at the most like 10 wheels like we should be able to have a larger selection. The tricks were over all pretty dope but i thought their would have been an ollie north (one of the coolest tricks)

I like most of the ideas above. What i am expecting in Skate 2 is. . .
Walking: it really gets annoying when having to ride up a hill just to get to a stair set, or anything.
Switch skating: using the oppisite sticks to do switch and nollie tricks.
Board Breaking: From doing big gaps, stairs, ect. Mot just the middle of the board, but the tail and nose ect. Also damage to your board like pressure cracks, cracks, grip tape degradement, chipping.
Shoe damage: from doing flip tricks and cause your shoes to tare, and shoe laces from ollieing.
Customize your skater options: More hair styles, facial features, more cloths, and hats. Custom deck graphic maybe. . .
Day\Night: You get the idea. . .
Seasonal Changes: Snow, rain, ice, wind, sunny, cloudy. All effecting your skater.
Join Skate teams\ Make skate teams: doing demos, videos ect.
Buying places to live: Apartment, houses, mansions. Depending on how much money you have. Also furniture to put in there would be nice.
Bails: non-overdramitic bails.
More tricks: Big spins, Big Flips, ect. If you try doing lets say… a fakie big spin in the game it says……. fakie 360 popshuvit 180, but if you look in replay the board seems to do a 540 shuv or 540 flip, but whatever
Although Rondy Mullen is an amazming freestyle skater, we shouldnt add those kinds of tricks into Skate 2. Its already bad enough that I can manuel for 10min straight, but if there were caspers, truckstands, ect, it would be too much like THPS

2 things would make this game so much better…
1= BEING ABLE TO WALK!!! i hate riding around and trying to find your way to a place since you cant walk up a stair..
2= CREATE A PARK!!! i loved this in the tony hawk games and it would be great in skate as well…. people could make what they like to skate, megaramps, skate plazas, parks, realistic things, unrealistic things, whatever.
also it would be nice if you could press a button to make the hall of meat come up when you fall instead of it automatically come up because a lot of times i really don’t care what it has.
example= Press (triangle) for hall of meat, Press X to skip.
Oh I’m sure Skate 2 will be pretty fun skating. It’s quite the innovation over Tony Hawk. There’s no PS2 (I have a PC and PS2) version most likely because they didn’t do any code optimizations except what was absolutely necessary to release a test version of their Tony Hawk killer. Obviously they are better off releasing for PS2 since there’s 100 million of those things in consumer hands. And they wouldn’t put this test game on a piracy ridden platform because they need money for the official version.
But like I said, Skate 2 will feature some very kick-butt mechanics that will most likely include grabs, flips, lips, manuals, and grinds. They just have to perfect the vertical mechanics so they can tidy up everything else. By then they will have very good physics, and graphics, and very intuitive controls. I have no doubts about that.

i know this will sound really wierd, at first… but listen to what i have to say (or read anyway lolz) i reckon that right at the beginnin of the carreer you shud have to learn how to do tricks, or have a san andreas theme, ie. the more you do them, the better you become at them like the more you do ollies, the higher they become. i hope ea take this into account and i know it may be hard, but i was talking to m8s at skwl and they all agreed that would be fun to play.

aye, some other things i realized as i read on, i saw that the fingerflip idea looks like it would work really well like when your rolling a long if you wanna do a 360flip fingerflip. then you could press the grab button with whichever hand u wanna use. press up on the left analog stick to tell it that you wanna grab the nose, or down for the tail. and do the same movement on the right analog stick as you would 360flip, ad you’ve done a 360flip fingerflip. that would be sweet, even though it sounds hard to create and explain how to use, but i believe that the makers of skate are clever enough to work it out, also, one of the other ideas is… rather than doin truckstands n stuff. i think if you had that it’d be on the verge to being a sort of tony hawks game. well you should be able to do them sort of tricks, in the air. rather than doin the floor version of casper flip, do the air version. like hospital flips.
also another idea… may be really childish sounding. and i dont play it any more, but have it like runescape. as in you ca go online and skate ANYWHERE with youre mates and play games of skate n stuff while ppl still around you can watch n stuff but if too many ppl play the game and the maps not big enough, then make different worlds. about 20 different worlds… same map on each world but theres different ppl on each world. and you have youre own house. if no one understands what i mean then go on http://www.runescape.com and look at the worlds it might describe what i mean better than how i did. thanks dudes.

You can land big gaps you just have to hold both triggers when you land. It works but it looks pretty lame because you grab both sides of your board. They should make it so you just bend down to brace your fall(who the hell grabs both sides of their board when they land a huge gap?). It would also be nice if they would throw in some cars to buy to drive around in. Like cars from Need for Speed. This might sound ridiculous but it could be cool if you could enter a code if you wanted a car. One last thing couldn’t they add some more SB’s? There’s only like 300 or so nike SB’s. Cool blog by the way and I hope they give a release date for Skate 2 soon.
One more comment about the falling down thing. It does look like you took a bullet in the head. You should be able to brace for falls if their hard and run it off if your moving slow. They should also make some codes for blood and broken bones.
what they should do to make the tricks look more realistic is do a mo-cap of like twenty of each trick (except of like the 360 inwards and 360 hardflips cause like no one can do em) and then when ever you do that trick it randomly cycles through the 20 of em……also walking should be there and boards breaking and gettin damaged enough to need new ones…..but cars would be gay as shit….it would take the purpose out of the game….but if there were less cars and less pedestrians then it would be sweet…if you add all that pointless stuff that you guys have been saying then it just becomes like tony hawk series……oooo multiple cities would be nice too and downloadable content…..a two player (or more players possibly) freeskate……..and have you get more involved into the story like have you character able to talk and interact with people and actually have some conflict instead of havin everything go your way…..this probly wont happen but a park editor would be sweet……and its a sweet game but there are things it can add and make it better
yeah i just commented but i just thought of another thing…..the replays….they need to be a little longer and have a more customizable angle setting…..like having a stationary camera or like the person said earlier having it moving then stop when it gets to a gap of some sort ……….the whole learning tricks idea is cool but useless…everyone already knows how to do stuff….but having the tricks kinda like adapt to your skate style somehow…like if you do a certain trick a lot then have it to where it gets cleaner and cleaner or where you catch it higher or something like that…..also more character clothing, appearance, skate style options like being able to adjust the hats any way you want or adjusting the length of your hair……fingerflips would be kinda cool but a little gay at the same time they would only be cool if you could “turn on figerflip mode” by pressing a button and then the flicking of each trick would be that same but he would just finger flip it….handplants would be gay cause people would do them in dumb spots…like edge of a building or something…..grabbing while grinding would be cool like a crailslide or nosegrab tail slide and same goes for manuals and also being able to do one footed stuff like one foot nose manny and stuff…..having primos and flatland tricks would be dumb cause then its almost like tony hawk….also i would not like have like two part tricks that sounds weird but i mean like hospital flips and stuff…..being able to do like a 360 double flip (like chris cole) or just some how make it where you can have every trick have double flips……also frontside flips need to look more realistic….well tthats all i can think of thanks for reading it ( if you actually read all that)
Make turf skatepark, a tribute to it. I like the demos Idea, but alot of the Ideas on this page will make Skate really unrealistic.

If I could wish for anything for EA Skate 2 to have I would wish for handstands, even more realistic carnage in wrecks (shows the consequences), like road rashes metal pole impalements and spiked fences type of carnage with a serious blood loss sign or fade to red bonus, I had this idea that spot challenges could be upgraded to line challenges in which the skater has to reasonably navigate the line and earn the points. The way I see it is difficult to explain, like the rest of the level is greyed out except the line to skate, winding fast and narrow for 15-30 seconds even super lines at a minute carving paths no wider than the tables or sidewalks or ledges they hit. In my brain its awesome …The trailer pops up and the skater rolls in then he steps off his board “thank God” walks around and jumps onto his board then he sits at a bench or a ledge and shows how he can still pop tricks and do grabs while sitting down. he gets up and stretches his arms out then he does a handstand (or a ninja) flip without ever putting his feet on the ground, he gets cocky and no comply picks up his board does a sprinting acid drop for the mount, pushes three more times and jacks himself up worse than ever before. Thats what I see in my head, that is what I wish for. I bet that is something EA can do. They did so much for the first I just hope it stays true to the art, that zen flow of skateboarding.
One other thing i would like to see is the record mode is a little bland, pretty basic. I want to see more complexity, like keep the camera still while the skater goes by, and putting the clips together to make one big skate video. Just like in the latest tony hawk, thats the only thing they got right

skate is great game. All skate 2 needs to do is stay true to skateboarding and change the goals-instead of doing 10 grinds in 30 secs-nollie back smith a round handrail. Also walking WOULD help, but this should be as far as it goes. Remember SKATE is about skateboarding- nothing else, SKATE was succsesful becuase it was simple, if things are over complicated skate 2 wil be poo juice.

That was the best years for anything related to skateboarding, and where everything good started. The punks, the graffity, the boards, the bands!, the snickers, the colors, the feeling! of the 80’s, the police chase, the Thrashers, the gangs!, the art!, the clothes!, and more!
And on Boars selection, you can have the option to have old school Skateboards as well as the new style with 2 tails. That way everyone is happy and we can have more variation.
I have others ideas, but I’m sure they probably have been mentioned before, like better customization, and more good skateboarding places instead of a long downhill, more building to get in, parkings, etc… but the most one I’m really concerned is the 80’s idea.
It would be the 99% Perfect Skateboarding game.
Try to play other old school games such as Skate or Die 1 and 2, and watch the movie “Hokus Pokus” (no the witches one) it is basically the best 80’s Skateboarding movie; so you get good 80’s influence.

I wonder, what if this game becomes a bit Cell Shaded or a bit of Cartoonish, so it’s engine will run like butter, more Smoother, even more fluid and animations would have a LOT of possibilities as well as more space and Les lag.

A couple ideas: you should definitely be able to walk around, break your board and have to buy a new one, and they should definitely add the ability to do grinds in skate, cause that would make things way more fun

say you see a really really nice spot
for example a kinked handrail over a 40 set
and player 1 needs footage for a magazine
player 2 gets off his board and gets out his camera, finds where he wants to stand, position yourself correctly, choose the lens.
player 1 hits the spot, player 2 takes the pictures in quick succession
and vice versa, also with videos
You should be able to get off your board, do flatland tricks, more multiplayer options, better video editor, lip tricks, impossible, darkslide, it should be harder to grind on a round rail than on a flat bar like in real skating, they should have more companies, especially element (but they’re obviously not gonna put birdhouse), more pro skaters, fall recovery system, more flip tricks (such as 540 shuv-its and double varials), ability to paint a logo to apply to clothing and decks, make your own skate team, longer career mode, REAL megaramp (the one with 2 ramps, like in mega compound), Transworld Skateboarding Magazine, make your own skateparks, more in-depth create-a-skater mode, harder to get money, damage boards, bearings that control speed, WAY more board parts, trucks and bearings can get rusted, Co-Op career like AJ said, and last and least; more different cars

I think the skate should start off as a noob. You have to learn your tricks and practice them to have them good. Harder gaps and grinds. Skate team in career and maybe even multiplayer career. Having to buy new boards and working at a skate shop to get money that will take away from your skating time during the day and having to go sleep at home. Home being on the map and being able to go to bed and chill. Being able to buy new cameras with better quality and being able to buy different lenses. At your house you’ll be able to have your rail in front of your house and have friends come over. Make styles more dramatic or maybe even create-a-style. Add pivots in there in stead of the 180’s and 180 flips gross lookin. This might sound like to much of a Skate Sim but its the reality and we need an amazing skate game.

i think there should be a system of actually catchig and landing on the board like click in both analog sticks when you want to land. Lets say you do a kickflip, i think u should watch it flip and when you see the griptape press in both sticks to stick it. I think it will make the game alot more harder and also very interesting.

i think there should be a lot more product options like at least 10-15 of everthing for each company and it would be cool if everytime you did a flip trick it was different and sometimes more sloppy. put stalls in the game. make it so when you do a 270 you dont have to pop off a huge ollie and make it look unrealistic. make it so have to pop close to a rail because a lot of times ill pop like 8 feet away from a handrail and actuall slide all the way down.
i forgot make sure people arent stupid and stand in the way of rails tha your sessioning and deffinenetly make it so we can mark spots we like to skate so we dont have to go find them again. have you guys thought of making a snowboard video game it would be sick ive already got ideas for it.

OK i think that there should also be a nighttime so if theres a spot that is surrounded by cops during the day and there was absolutely no survelance during the night u could bring a set of lights to session and get some footy. but you would only have a few chances to land the phenomenal trick before the cops got there… you get arrested…. go to jail…pay the huge fine… then do it all over again if u wanted to.
I also agree on the seasons so that if it was snowing u would have to shovel out a spot to session. and if it was raining it would be slippery so the board would slip out and it would be hard to land tricks.
Even if ea doesnt put these features in it will still always be better than tony hawk

one thing that boethered me alot is that a frontside flip is different then a backside flip. just cause they are both 180 kickflips doesn’t mean they are the same trick. if i do a frontside trick in skate, the person playing me cant do a backside trick and have it count. its not the same trick. diferentiat between f/s and b/s.
make the tricks a little harder to land. i would love a realistic mode implemented in the game. you know, so you cant 540 inward 360 heelflip melon feeble to 360, 360 flip out. its fun but i want a little more realistic game.

1- walking
2- Call your filmer or photoshooter( or both) and you must tell them where they must put there camera’s ^^
3- your own house ( where you can watch some skatevids or change your clothing or shoes and where your car is )
4- ams and pro’s ( bryan herman, stefan janoski, rick mccrank and so on !!)
5- while in a session if you land something cool , the other guys start cheering
6- Demo’s , contests ( there will be cheering from the crowd and of course filming by the filmers)
7- if you do a trick off a huge gap ( you don’t get it 1st try(or miss the trick) or the tail,nose,middle snaps , or touch the ground with your hand)
8- film , get sponserd , demo’s, contest , go pro, while pro you must film a part in the video then edit your part and see the video
9- if you see skater , that you will ask if you can join them on their session
10- you can shout if you missed a trick or if the board breaked ^^
11- your skater isn’t a dummy if he bails
12- you can choose your filmer ( ty evans or more)
13- skate night and day ( generator at night ^^)

I think you should have to get good at tricks. When you start out you could ollie and it would be kinda small then you could get better at it. But with all of the tricks. Also you shouldnt always land every ground trick. Like you wouldnt catch it and not land. I hope skate 2 turns out really great.
i think that the damage meter for the skateboards trucks wheels and shoes is a really good idea. also it would be cool if you put in some sketchy ledges and put skatewax in the store to make the slide better? and the bails were a little overated they should fix that. it would be cool to put in some extra places like famous ones to skate that you can go to after beating the game (like vans skatepark or the krew warehouse)
I’m flowing with ideas for this game.
-It needs a skate park editor!!!!!! If I had my druthers you would be able to buy a warehouse or something with the money you earn from being pro and put ramps and rails and stuff in it. Or you could purchase safe houses and put skate parks in the backyard. Maybe the further you get the bigger area you can afford to buy and build in. Good incentive to progress in the game.
-Impossibles could be done by doing a bs shuv flick all the way to the top and then flicking it straight back down again real fast. like drawing a “D” with the stick (goofy)
-Boneless could be done by grabbing the board early and then flicking an ollie. Or grabbing the board early and then pressing the push button. Foot plants could be done on stuff in mid-air like that too, which would be difficult to get exactly right (thus fun). Maybe even ollie norths and one footed grabs could be done like that too.
-For hand plants you could grab the board early and use the left/body stick to rotate your body upside down at the top of the lip and grab the lip with the other bumper. Then you could tweak them with the right stick.
-It should be a little harder to do really high ollies.
-it would be cool if you had to press the stick to catch your flip tricks. Otherwise they just keep flipping and you lose them, unless you magically land them perfectly, but it will look sloppy. Or you miraculously save them somehow like Bob Burnquist : ) This would allow lots of new tricks like 540 flips or kickflip underflips, fluid looking flip tricks to grabs, ect… because the trick wouldn’t end until you stopped it in one way or another. That would make the game much much harder though.
-Unlockable skate videos from the pros in the game! Tony Hawk 1, 2, and kind of 3 had the right idea, but for some reason they forgot thats what made the game worth beating, rather than just trying to pretend it was real skating in free-skate mode.
-Lip tricks, lip grinds need to be more fluid looking. You should actually drop back into ramps but have a little semi-free fall period were your wheels are touching the ramp but you can slide to fakie or revert and so on with more ease.
-when you 180/360 into a nose/fakie manual you should be able to carry your momentum and complete another 180 in the direction you were just spinning.
-shoe/board damage = rad… In Thrasher there was a damage meter for the board and if you fell too much your board broke. That was good enough for me.
-walking/running = must have
-loading screens for 1 block away = weak

What about when u land wrong on a board and your board snaps……. Why not add that so like if you tryo to kickflip a lot of stairs and land in center of board shouldnt your board snap from all that pressure?
- you should deffinantly be able to walk
-also you should deffinantly not be able to get 50 feet of air off of a 6 or 7 foot quarter pipe
- you should make a public transportation system like a buss or something
- deffinantly switch up the sponsors i could name like 15 differnt sponsers that werent in the game
- you should also show board damage and have boards break after an unreasonable large drop that would be impossible to land even in a video game
- next you should make like the charicters friends in the game real pros and ams and the good ones not just like rod dyredek cause he has his own t v show even though hes good get people like mike mo,omar salazar,antwan dixon, stefan janoski, rick howard and defffinantly dennis hoyle
- take out the loading screens entirely
-make the flip tricks and styles differnt no kick flip or any trick is exactly the same as another one even if its from the same person

-make the weather change and the time of day
- get a kick ass skatepark in it
- but forreal thought the first skate kicked ass juat make the 2nd one better
When doing some tricks like a kickflip bs lipslide the motion in not very realistic asi it first does a complete kickflip and then moves the chracter a 180 to land lipslide. unless you use the left analog stick to turn 180, but it should be able just using the right analog stick. also the stance as it slides doesnt look real when you use the left analog stick to turn because the character doesnt look forward over his shoulder.
Well, i think skate1 is hella sick you did a good job.BUT there needs to be improving like
1.Walking: you always have to ollie up the stairs or grind.
2.new bails i mean everytime u miss a trick he just falls he doesnt try catching him self or anything so that could be improved.
3.SCREW CARS, i mean this isnt gta train should stay its completely fine but if you want to add a bus thats cool

would be cool is each tricks had 3 different variances which your could purchase for your character. eg daewon 360flips, reynolds frontside sides, kenny reid 5-0s, kosten backside noseblunts
tweaking out flip tricks, maybe the higher you ollie or tweak button
better co-ordinations between ollie and rotation, you should’nt be able to rotate once airboard. Would make frontside flip animations more effective, you’d have to time the rotation and ollie flip together. Not sure how this could work with steering. Ideally there should be different speeds of rotation so 360s have a different animation from 180s
switch style, a slider variable in your character profile, the higher the variable the more the tricks and stance should look reversed
more camera angles on replays and editing, fisheye and long lens view
Rain, variable weather and all that is fine as long it’s not so dark you can bearly see the player.. I HATE playing GTA IV at night-time, because you can’t see anything!
And more damage sounds interresting, like if you bail of a 6 feet ledge and land on your arm, it will snap and you can see it’s 180 degrees around.. Caps, shoes and stuff should come of when you bail hard.. I’m tired of seeing that cap constantly on his head. If people don’t like that, EA could just put some switch to turn it on and off. And also if you have bailed, the player will instead of jumping onto a new frame back on the board, the player could run after his board and if he loses his cap, he will bend down and put it back on..
Wearing is a must in skate. 2. One board doesn’t last trought your whole carrer..

yo having some jobs to video tape some of the other skaters around town, like if you see a guy you could follow him and tape, walking, maybe a house, shoe, board, bearing damage also if you do to many reverts you should get some flat spots on your wheels and have to buy new ones, also better physics on going back into transitions after grinding the coping.

2.) proper physical damage, dunno bout you guys but i’ve messed myself up pretty good a few time skatin and i think they should reflect that, full on face gnar when you stack into a wall or clip your head on a rail or lip, also perhaps broken arms with casts which can shatter if you hit it too many times doing more damage? black eyes, bloody noses, head plaster, neck braces etc, broken legs would require some time in hospital which you could skip through or something dunno maybe a mini game? I WANT TO SEE BLOOOODDD!!!! the hall of meat would be completely transformed!

i think that they should add different stance types, and some are unlockable throughout the game and you kinda start off with a sloppy stance, and also it affects how you play online. also you should be able to create your own “own the spot” area and skate it up with your friends. Oh and same console 4 player free skate.

like you don’t jus come back and all of the sudden your still the best skater in the world
you come back and people are rippin shit up
and pro’s on your team are gettin more fans bigger pay checks and more opertunitys
while your just gettin asked to do a few small time things at start then the bigger and better you get and the more demo’s you skate the more ur known
and actually let us place 1st 2nd or 3rd in comps not just 1st all the time
and let that affect your fan support and rep…
if you skate well in demo’s and pull of sick lines and clean tricks
you get asked to do more photo shoots and shoot more footy
but if you do a bit crap and you manage to stay in top 10 but at like
6th 7th 8th
then you dont get asked to do photo shoots and footage
for your team or for mags cause you skate sloppy
have dlc ?
like be able to download latest boards
and clothes if you want ?
maybe some new brands to like
famou$ ?
toymachine ?
have sections online aswell
for your video’s
so maybe have a section for funny vids ?
cause im sick of seeing the best video
of being a dude jumpin off a buildin and hangin himself off a sign or
seeing some dude lookin like he is gettin sucked off by a old women…
so add a funniest video section or somthin ?
and maybe most outragous trick ?
for all them people who like 2 do simple crap tricks like christ air backflips
then for real skaters like me and loads others have sections like best

i think a good new feature would be breaking your skateboard. Its more lifelike. I mean really, breaking your legs but your skateboard is still fine? That doesnt make sense to me.
being able to style your ollies would be good. you dont want everyone to ollie the same. And being able to catch the board when u want would be cool too
